B.S. Anangpuria Institute of Technology and Management organized a guest lecture of Ms Surbhi Aggarwal, an alumnus of 2007-11 batch of Computer Science and Engineering batch. She has more than 6 years of experience in multinational companies. Recently, working as an Advisory System Analyst at International Business Machines (IBM) Corporations. She was invited to address the newly inducted batch of students pursuing Engineering at Anangpurias.
Surbhi Aggarwal expressed her joy of being here with the Anangpuria family :
It would be tough to recapitulate four years of time spent in BSAITM in just a matter of lines. I am grateful to BSAITM for giving me multi-dimensional learning with the apt mix of leadership traits, industry exposure and needless to say, Academics.
The Institute Faculty imparted great values along shaping lives through quality education for a bright future.
The journey of Computer Science and Engineering at Anangpuria has truly been exhilarating and magnificent.
My experience here at Anangpurias Institute of Technology and Management meant everything to my development and who I am today.

Recent Trend in Design and Development (CADD Centre)

Seminar Topic: Recent Trend in Design and Development (CADD Centre).

Venue: Seminar Hall, Mechanical Engineering Department, BSAITM.

Date: 09 March 2018

One day Seminar was held on “Recent Trend in Design and Development” on 09/03/2018 in the mechanical engineering department of B. S. Anangpuria educational institutes, Faridabad (Haryana).

The Seminar was conducted by Mr.Laxman Tewatia and Mr.A.Yadav (CADD Centre). Approximately 150 students of 2^nd year and 3rd-year mechanical engineering attended the Seminar. The Seminar was very useful for the Students because it covers the topics like CAD/CAM/CAE Software products for 2D & 3D Modeling. Finite Element Analysing, Detailing and Computer Aided Manufacturing tools.

Mr.Yadav mentioned that mechanical engineering is the broadest of all engineering disciplines that apply the principles of physics and material science for the purpose of product design. Automotive, Aerospace, Marine, Production, Mechatronics, Thermal Engineering, and Robotics are some of the streams that have evolved from mechanical engineering.

This seminar helped the participants to improve the productivity skills and improve their career prospects. After gaining the CAD skills, any mechanical engineers can easily find employment and boost productivity. This program is clubbed with 30 minutes written test, which makes the participant excel and has an edge over the competition.

In the end, Mr. Laxman tewatia, ended the seminar warm thanks. In his thanksgiving the speech, he especially thanked the Hon’ble Director Dr. SS Tyagi for her boosting & enthusiastic involvement & the keen interest in this seminar and Dr. Deepak Khurana (HOD, ME) for sparing their valuable time for the seminar. Similarly, he also thanked all the faculty members and students who actively participated in the seminar & encouraged the organizers.

With the rapid change growing in the economy, Red Carpet industry has a great market demand nationally as well as globally. This industry is one of the preferred destinations of multitudes of students worldwide seeking established and reputed placement jobs.
On 1st Feb 2018, Red Carpet visited B.S. Anangpuria Educational Institutes for Campus Drive, The Campus drive was for all the candidates pursuing B.Tech. in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication and IT graduates. Students from all the streams actively participated showing full zest towards the start of career with the desired placement opportunity.
There was a great deal of enthusiasm among final year students when company visit happened at a college campus for placement. Students came forward with their queries regarding company, placement procedure and the Placement Cell members readily helped them.
The company began with the pre-placement talks followed by the group discussion and interview rounds. After the recruitment process was over, 13 students, luckily were intimated about their selection.
Any graduate or Post Graduate can apply for the employment in Red Carpet. Smart and Goal Oriented professionals who can own and run entire verticals around growth and distribution in Delhi is that what Red Carpet demands. The priority and preference are crowned by the ones who are active in College events, Clubs, Event management and Campus Ambassador programs. Compared to other job sectors/ companies, the work scenario is quite different in Red Carpet Industry. Cvent Inc., a privately held Software as a service company is specialized in meeting management technology. The hospitality technology leader, Cvent offers solutions to event planners for online event registration, event management, venue selection, email marketing, mobile apps for events and web surveys.
The recruitment process started with Cvent Team sharing specific profiles based on student interest and applications received, Cvent staff members shortlisted the profiles as per their eligibility, conducted a Group Discussion and Aptitude Test, followed by interviews by the experienced panel of Cvent leaders.
Implementing the online portion of client events as when needed and gathering Client requirements and implementing them in Cvent’s event management software followed by offering best practice tips to clients in an effort to boost their meeting attendance via Cvent’s marketing engine are some of the positions applied for the placement at Cvent, added Cvent expert.

Workshop on “Designing Personalized 8051 Development Board”

Description: One day workshop was organized by the students of 3rd year for the fellow classmates on Designing of Personalized 8051 Development Board. The workshop comprised of theory lectures and practical lab work. The theory lectures were followed up by Lab work wherein students did various steps of PCB designing like Sheet cutting, etching, tone transferring, soldering and components mounting. The final product was 8051 Development Board.

An outcome of the event:
• Leadership quality was inculcated in the students.
• Technical skills of the students regarding PCB designing got enhanced.
